STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
INDUSTRIAL & HEAVY MACHINERY FOUNDATION DESIGNS
We provide:
- Solutions for foundation design for heavy machinery subject to dynamic loading
- Designs focusing on the structure of foundation, as a lump of discrete elements, the rebaring positioning, elasticity of components and properties of quantities involved (soil, concrete grade, masses, vibration amplitudes)
Machine foundations differ from building foundations in that they are subjected to dynamic loads that vary frequently at short intervals. Ignoring these dynamic loads, the vibrations produced have harmful effects on the machine foundations, the machines placed on the foundations, the neighbouring buildings and people.
A fundamental condition is that the foundations are designed in such a way that the oscillation modes transmitted to the environment are as low as possible.
STRUCTURAL AND MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS MONITORING
We provide
- Analytical approach in the design of optimal structures based on:
- Graph theory
- Minimum cost criteria
- Minimum weight criteria
- Solutions related to water hammer effects in pipes under pressure
- Method of reducing the water hammer effects
- Vibration measurements on rotating machinery or impact equipment (presses)
- Condition monitoring of equipment
- Identification of sources of vibrations
- Elastic and dynamic characteristics of the structures. Eigenvales and eigenvectors
We use Bruel & Kjaer equipment for our assessements
